This year, over thirty contestants have entered the annual campus-wide karaoke competition at the University of Chicago in an attempt to change their lives, find their voices, and discover their potential on the stage of Chicago Idol. Now, the finalists are chosen, and their moment of truth will be revealed on Thursday, May 15th. Free food and drinks will be served. Be sure to come to witness this extraordinary event!

Korea Town Trip - San Soo Gab San show splash

This K-town trip is a cultural exploration trip to foster understanding for the Korean culture. We will travel to the North side of Chicago, a predominately Korean neighborhood with plenty of Korean restaurants, bakeries, specialty stores, etc. We invite you to San Soo Gab San, which is Chicago's most renowned place for Korean BBQ. You'll sit Korean-style at low tables, cook your own food, and the barbeque smell is so strong that that it will permeate everything you are wearing.

Transportation will be subsidized by ASU, $10 - $9 = $1/person.

International Food Festival (IFF) is one of the largest events on campus each year. It consists of free food and performances provided by various student organizations on campus. You will be tasting delicious cultural cuisines from around the world, and at the same time enjoying amazing performances by various dance and choir groups. It's about food, music, and dance, for FREE.
Hint: arrive early to avoid the long lines.
